The main ASU operator’s task is the optimal control of the installation in compliance with the technological regime, monitoring the condition of the equipment and its maintenance, as well as conducting preventive works to prevent emergencies. Participation in receiving and installing new equipment, upgrading and replacing inefficient equipment with high-performance equipment. Study of the operating conditions of equipment, individual parts and components in order to identify the causes of their premature deterioration. Participation in determining the reasons of downtime caused by technical condition of the equipment. Participation: in determination of optimal operating modes of equipment that contribute to its effective use; in development of instructions for the technical operation of equipment; lubrication and maintenance of equipment. Maintenance of the daily reports through the log of production information exchange, which should include: records of changes on the ASU, times of start up and shut down, incidents, descriptions of local events. Maintenance of pressure vessels. Cold and warm start up of the ASU. Took part in project called Job Cycle Checks (JCC) as a trainer for Cluster East: Engaging with our Operational Heads in order to raise their awareness of Job Cycle Checks and how it can improve operating discipline and efficiency. Identifying regional / divisional ‘Supertrainers’ (from operations) to participate in RSE pilot training course. Commitment to run a pilot in 2017. Support Operations in planning (2017 activity) and rolling out the JCC training for line managers (2018). Engaging with SHEQ staff to be familiar them with the JCC methodology. Participation in the development of the project Linde together with Schlumberger as a field engineer (2015). Participation in negotiations with potential clients. Carrying out calculations of the necessary equipment for the continuous supply of the customer with the product. Supplying the client with a liquid product at the point of oil production.
